Hey, y’all! Quick update on what you can expect throughout the 2024 season.
I’m excited to announce that Three-Point Stance is partnering with SID Sports by Griffin Olah! This partnership won’t take the place of either of our works. Instead, it’s a way for us to grow together and keep cranking out great college football content.
Think of it like the 2005 Thunder-Lighting tailback duo at USC with Reggie Bush and LenDale White. We’ll both bring something different to the table and hope to form a formidable partnership.
To start, I’ll let Griffin introduce himself, SID Sports and his background:

SID Sports is an independent publication that takes you into the world of college athletics through the eyes of someone who knows it best: a former FBS Sports Information Director. From breaking down NIL and court cases, to inside views at why teams and athletic departments are trying new things and rankings and previews, SID Sports is your home for all things college football.
No matter if you're a die-hard or casual fan, SID Sports is going to help you understand everything going on each Saturday in the fall and bring it in a fun, easy-to-understand way. It's time to embrace the college football world, in all of its wacky, old-fashioned and just plain weird glory. You'll need a guide, and there's none better than SID Sports.
How does impact both newsletters?
Simply put, the hope is that this partnership delivers you, the readers, more engaging college football content. We’ll still focus primarily on our own audience, schedule and style.
What should you expect?
This partnership should allow for a more robust content creation schedule. Our schedules will likely evolve a bit over time, but here’s what you can generally expect:
Three-Point Stance will follow the same schedule as last season with The Call Sheet on Thursdays, Sunday Storylines on Sundays and sporadic big-picture/in-depth pieces throughout the season.
SID Sports will follow a similar schedule to last season with Top 25 rankings on Mondays, occasional midweek articles on Wednesdays and Games of the Slot on Fridays.
How will you receive this content?
We’ll likely start cross-posting newsletters. You can also expect links to each other’s work. Think of it as a small ad for the other’s newsletter.
Heck, we might even get a little crazy and write a few guest newsletters for each other’s publications. We shall see.
Note: I highly encourage you to subscribe to both Three-Point Stance and SID Sports, because who doesn’t want more awesome independent journalism in your life?
But for the sake of transparency, neither of us receives kickbacks for subscribers. We just want to grow our audiences together.
